Old School Kombucha began in Wayanad, not by design but by life. We live here — and soon
realized how right that felt. This region, with its clean mountain water, cool air, and rich soil,
turned out to be the ideal environment for natural fermentation.
But being based here isn’t easy. Logistics are tough. The market is far. But we chose to stay —
because we believe origin matters. Wayanad shapes the way we think, the way we brew, and
the way our kombucha tastes.
We exist. We create. And we’re not waiting for permission to be heard.

Our first batch didn’t taste right — it was missing something real.That changed when we discovered the Wayanad Green Tea Producers Company — a
farmer-led collective of over 200 small-scale growers. They focus on organic, chemical-free
farming, and were the first farmer-producer company in India’s tea sector.
Their teas cost more — but that price supports the farmers and the land they work.
When we brewed with their green and black tea, everything changed.
The flavour came alive — clean, deep, and unmistakably rooted in Wayanad.
We stopped chasing flavour.
We started trusting the soil beneath our feet.
